Emerson is seeking a Lifecycle Service Manager in Rijswijk, Netherlands. This hybrid, full-time role involves ensuring compliance, on-time project delivery, financial performance, and effective team management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in Lifecycle Services, Project Management, or Engineering, with direct or indirect team leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with all safety and compliance policies, procedures, and practices.
- Deliver MSOL Services orders on time, on budget, and with high quality.
- Report utilization and financial performance in collaboration with the MSOL Europe Lifecycle Services Operation Manager.
- Evaluate and recommend organization changes to meet financial performance expectations.
- Implement MSOL operation Project Management Office processes for excellence in project execution.
- Validate the LCS Sales POR with the MSOL Sales Director.
- Manage the MSOL install base and customer engagement to create LCS opportunities.
- Manage Services Engineers to ensure effective operation and development.
- Ensure LCS opportunities are relevant, reported in CRM, quotations accurate, and delivered on time.
- Coordinate and allocate work of the Services engineers.
- Direct the Services team to perform scope of work on time, within budget, and profitably.
- Review and respond to customer complaints related to field services.
- Develop and execute the strategic plan with country leadership.
- Provide leadership and supervision for direct reports, including personal development plans.
- Fulfill Delegation of Authority Requests and review/approve leave and expenses.
- Conduct PEP and PDP reviews with direct reports.
- Adhere to Emerson's commitment to Environment, Health & Safety.
- Adhere to Emerson Trade Compliance, Quality Management procedures, and Ethics policy.
- Ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Requirements
- Fluent English language skills (verbal, reading, writing).
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in Lifecycle Services, Project Management and/or Engineering.
- Excellent sales and operations orientation, preferably in a control/Instrumentation/Engineering environment.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in direct or indirect leading of teams in an international/inter-cultural environment.
- Additional European languages are useful.
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant business discipline qualifications (or equivalent experience) strongly preferred.
