Responsibilities
- Design and develop new tools as per client requirements and customize existing tools.
- Lead technical design, ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Determine the optimal configuration of modules, databases, interfaces, and integrations to support business processes.
- Prepare capability presentations, assessments, and proposal preparation.
- Coordinate project management activities like creating project plans, allocating resources, and coordinating activities among team members and stakeholders.
- Support the professional growth and development of consulting team members through training and mentorship.
- Build, automate, and operate a scalable and reliable Databricks platform on Azure.
- Focus on infrastructure automation, CI/CD enablement, platform performance, and cost optimization.
- Ensure secure integration and stable operations to support enterprise analytics and AI workloads.
- Automate the provisioning of services adhering to Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and SQL queries for monitoring and optimization.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Users to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Monitor system performance, data pipelines, and platform cost for availability and reliability.
- Manage connections to source systems.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and technology trends.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer/Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and their services.
- Good knowledge of Databricks platform.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and SQL queries.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with system performance monitoring and cost optimization.
