Responsibilities
- Drive business workshops with channels, core systems, and stakeholders to gather business requirements for the product/project backlog in the payments domain.
- Prepare user stories/functional specification documents and ensure their completeness.
- Conduct walkthrough sessions with business stakeholders to clarify and confirm user stories/functional specification documents.
- Prepare and/or aid in the preparation of test cases in line with user stories/functional specifications.
- Provide clarifications to the development and testing team as and when required.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of relevant experience and hands-on knowledge in core payments processing for retail and corporate banking customers.
- Exposure to payments processing and clearing systems from multiple geographies is highly desirable.
- Hands-on expertise in payment messages such as SWIFT, ISO20022.
- Hands-on expertise in at least one leading payments processing products such as Fundtech GPP, FIS Clear2Pay, Dovetail, Volante is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in requirements engineering (elicitation, elaboration, analysis, translation, documentation, communication).
- Assist in defining the business problem and business solution in line with best practices, governance standards, and methodologies.
- Exposure to agile ways of working.
- A good understanding of service-oriented architecture, including concepts around API, Micro-Services is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
