Key Responsibilities

1. To champion ITIL, security, and data privacy to offer high-quality, well-documented solutions, minimizing risks and maximizing customer satisfaction.
2. To provide support for complex incidents, escalated by analysts, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve technical & security issues.
3. To work on value adding activities such as maintainenace of a comprehensive Knowledge base , act as a mentor to junior analysts,and deliver training programs for freshers, equipping them with essential skills to become productive .
4. To contribute to a positive customer experience and high CSAT scores by providing fast, accurate, and secure resolutions, fostering customer trust and satisfaction.
5. To proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities to protect customer data and prevent security incidents.

Skill Requirements

1 .Primary Skills :

Console Monitoring :

Managing subsystems using NETVIEW and SSM , with strong knowledge of MVS/JES commands. Monitoring jobs and tasks via SYSVIEW and handling operations through TSO/SDSF. Performing regular IPL of LPARs and managing disaster recovery procedures. Troubleshooting console alerts and resolving P1/P2 incidents in SNOW within SLA, with Infra team coordination. Executing critical changes, tool migrations, and maintaining up-to-date documentation. Capable of leading transitions and delivering projects within timelines.

Batch Monitoring :

Monitoring batch job schedules to ensure timely completion of critical jobs and adherence to SLAs. Troubleshooting batch failures, analyzing abend logs using SAR, and performing recovery actions such as restart, rerun, force complete, cancel, or demand. Working with scheduling tools like CA-7/TWS and SDSF panels (DA, ST, LOG, INPUT, INIT, SR). Handling adhoc batch requests, managing incidents/changes within SLA, and providing clear email communication and support call coordination.

2 .Secondary Skills :

Strong understanding of MVS concepts, including IPL and started task execution. Proven ability to reduce job failures by identifying recurring issues and implementing permanent solutions. Knowledge of automation concepts, with the ability to coordinate with Infra teams to automate processes. Solid understanding of batch scheduling concepts. Capable of cross-training new team members as required.
