The Lead Administrator (Support & Operations) role focuses on the operational support and administration of enterprise print services, Mercury Output Management System (OMS), and directory services including Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID. This position requires managing print infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance within a large digital workplace environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 support for enterprise print services, including administration of configurations, queues, and servers.
  • Support Mercury Output Management System (OMS) operations, monitoring workflows, and troubleshooting output processing.
  • Manage print queues, create/modify/delete queues, and troubleshoot printing from various Windows devices and applications.
  • Administer Windows Print Servers, maintain drivers, and assist with patching and troubleshooting connectivity.
  • Support printer lifecycle management activities, including installation, relocation, and decommissioning.
  • Administer follow-me printing and mobile printing services, supporting secure print release and user authentication.
  • Perform Active Directory, Azure AD, and Entra ID administration, execute security cleanup, and troubleshoot GPO conflicts.
  • Resolve print-related incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues as needed and ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Coordinate with printer OEMs and managed print service providers for break-fix and hardware replacement.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of experience in Enterprise Print Management.
  • 2+ Years of experience in Print Server Administration.
  • 2+ Years of experience in Windows Server Support.
  • 2+ Years of experience in Print Queue Management.
  • 2+ Years of experience in ITSM Operations.
  • 3+ Years of experience in Enterprise End-User Support.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Mandatory Technical Skills: Enterprise Print Management, Print Queue Administration, Print Server Administration, Print Driver Management, Printer Lifecycle Management, Print Job Troubleshooting, Mercury Output Management System (OMS), Output Workflow Support, Print Monitoring, Output Processing Administration, Windows Print Services, Active Directory, Group Policy Basics, Windows Server Fundamentals, Secure Printing, Follow-Me Printing, Authentication-Based Printing, Print Access Management, ServiceNow, Incident Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management, Problem Management.
