Alstom seeks a full-time IXL Design Engineer in Bangalore to deliver safe and efficient railway signalling solutions. Responsibilities include creating design layouts, control tables, and hardware configurations, while ensuring adherence to safety standards and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver design scheme plan layouts, Control Tables, safe HMI layouts, signaling logic application data, hardware configuration drawings, cable core plans, signaling equipment room layouts, and diagnostic application data.
Ensure application and adherence to reference application design methods and tools, and request deviations in cooperation with the Project IXL Design Leader when necessary.
Actively participate in IXL detailed design review meetings and provide activity progress reports.
Organize and produce design documentation, software, and hardware design deliveries in accordance with project templates and requirements.
Support the Project IXL Design Leader and Project V&V Manager in resolving design issues and debugging.
Analyze and manage design change requests and define the hardware and software packages to be delivered to the V&V, installation, and Testing & Commissioning teams.
Ensure independence between design and verification activities.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
Experience or understanding of railway signalling principles and interlocking systems.
Knowledge of design tools and methodologies relevant to railway signalling.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the rail industry.
A certification in railway signalling design or related fields.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
