As a VoLTE/Control/IMS Integration Engineer in Rijen, Netherlands, you will integrate, test, and troubleshoot voice and core network solutions in customer environments, working with technologies like 5G, IMS, and cloud. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, with a focus on problem-solving and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate, test, and troubleshoot VoLTE, IMS, and 4G/5G Core network solutions in customer environments.
  • Work hands-on with network technologies to understand system connections and data flow.
  • Investigate technical issues using logs, traces, alarms, KPIs, and test results to find root causes.
  • Support testing of services like VoLTE calls, IMS registration, SMS over IMS, and emergency calling.
  • Configure, upgrade, migrate, and expand network solutions while ensuring service continuity.
  • Utilize technologies and protocols such as SIP, Diameter, IP networking, Linux, DNS/ENUM, and HTTP/2.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers, and customers to solve problems.
  • Document work and share knowledge with the team.
  • Build knowledge of cloud-native telecom and 5G Standalone (5G SA) technologies.
  • Take ownership of technical activities, customer communication, planning, and solution design as experience grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Interest in mobile networks and technologies like VoLTE, IMS, 4G/5G, IP networking, or cloud.
  • Hands-on technical exposure through work, internship, university projects, labs, or personal projects.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, networking, SIP, Diameter, or IMS/VoLTE (for junior candidates).
  • Logical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Curiosity and confidence to ask questions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams and customers.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to work regularly from the customer testing facility approximately 30 km from Maastricht.

  • More experienced candidates should bring relevant telecom integration, operations or support experience.
