ABB seeks an Indirect Tax - Data Management & Analytics Lead in Bangalore to manage indirect tax data, ensure VAT/GST compliance, and lead analytics projects. Responsibilities

Deliver compliance data for VAT/GST returns, Intrastat, and EC Sales Lists.
Own the indirect tax compliance calendar, Tax Pulse reporting, and KPI dashboards.
Run system checks in SAP Tax Compliance and ITX DA analytics tools, reporting exceptions.
Find, report, and resolve ERP data anomalies affecting tax calculation or reporting.
Validate customer and vendor tax master data with relevant teams.
Maintain the Global Tax Code Register and Global Indirect Tax GL Register.
Perform user acceptance testing for new tax codes and manage GL accounts.
Lead tax code, GL, and data maintenance projects.
Support e-invoicing and digital reporting rollouts.
Manage the ITX DA Analytics tool and coordinate process improvements.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in indirect tax (VAT/GST) compliance, tax technology, or tax data management, ideally in a multinational company or shared services center.
Strong skills in SAP (FI/SD/MM tax configuration, tax codes, and GL accounts).
Proficiency in SAP Tax Compliance or similar tax data analytics tools.
Advanced knowledge of data analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, Excel/Power Query, SQL).
Understanding of indirect tax reporting requirements.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
Excellent written and spoken English communication.
