As a Senior Compliance Associate in Amazon's Global Solutions and Risk Compliance (GSRC) team, you will review product information against SOPs and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance for Amazon listings. You will utilize Amazon-specific tools, work with management and process experts, maintain records, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Review latest product information as per Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs).
  • Cross-check product information against relevant regulatory documentation.
  • Classify products using Amazon-specific tools to ensure compliance.
  • Address deviations from standard SOPs with managers and Process Experts.
  • Maintain detailed records of assigned tasks and utilize standardized reports to prioritize work.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate to reduce manual effort, such as automating reports using Excel queries.
  • Share feedback on the team's SOPs for operational process refinement.
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute expertise.
  • Support peers by answering queries and providing process-level training.

Requirements

  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel for filtering and sorting data sets, cell referencing, pivot tables, and data validation.
  • Basic understanding of SQL, with the ability to self-service defined queries and make simple changes to retrieve data from a database.
  • Knowledgeable in Customer Relationship Management tools for managing customer data and tracking interactions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze and identify patterns across data sets and information.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions through logic, intuition, creativity, and design thinking.
  • Commitment to investigation, research, and diving deep to seek facts.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, critique, analyze, and communicate data.
  • English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or similar fields.
  • Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations.
  • 2+ year work experience in Business Process Outsourcing in accounting, regulatory compliance, payment processing, IT services, human resources, or quality assurance.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VBA).
  • Knowledge of database querying (SQL).
  • Experience as a quality auditor in retail chain management, Fast Moving Consumer Goods company, or corporate role.
  • Experience with data analysis in quantitative fields and building data and decision support systems.
