IKEA Tsuruhama is seeking EV drivers for short-time regular employment. This role is ideal for individuals who love driving and IKEA products, offering a supportive environment with no prior industry experience required. Responsibilities

  • Deliver IKEA furniture to customer homes using EV vehicles.
  • Conduct pre-departure checks, morning briefings, and prepare vehicles.
  • Complete 10-15 customer deliveries per day.
  • Take breaks and charge vehicles during the workday, with an on-the-go allowance provided.
  • Return to IKEA Tsuruhama, park vehicles, and connect them to chargers for the next day.
  • Participate in post-work check-ins to conclude the day's tasks.
  • Be flexible to work on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and during peak business seasons.
  • Adapt work schedule to meet business needs, especially during busy periods like year-end, holidays, and seasonal breaks.

Requirements

  • Possess a regular driver's license obtained at least one year prior (AT vehicles allowed).
  • Preference given to those with a semi-medium vehicle license or a regular license (under 8 tons).
  • Ability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays (with one weekend off per month possible).
  • Must be able to commute to the workplace via car, motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot.
  • Currently residing in Japan.
  • Ability to act independently and proactively.
  • Skill in prioritizing and managing job duties, utilizing time efficiently.
  • Demonstrate proactivity in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Willingness to work during peak seasons (year-end/New Year, March/April, Golden Week, Obon, Silver Week, etc.) is prioritized.
