Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. is seeking an experienced HW IP designer for their QITC team in Guyancourt or Sophia, France. The role involves owning units from specification and microarchitecture to RTL code, contributing to the next generation of semiconductor designs and SoC interconnects.
Responsibilities
- Elaborate unit specifications based on Product Definition Requirement documents, interacting with the Architecture team.
- Review specification documents with peers and the verification team.
- Perform RTL coding and verification.
- Work closely with the verification team to ensure specification understanding and verification throughout development.
- Collaborate with exploration and support teams.
- Provide expertise for debug and perform ECOs when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in RTL coding/simulation.
- Good knowledge of SOC/ASIC design flow.
- Good knowledge of AMBA protocols, AXI, CHI.
- Self-driven, analytical, creative and methodical.
- Teamwork spirit with good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in an international and multi-sites context.
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, digital design.
- 4/5 years of microelectronics definition and design.
- Ability to create robust micro-architectures.
- Ability to write clear specification document.
- Python/Verilog/C++ skills.
- Git/Svn skills.
- NcSim skills.
- Proficiency in French and English.
