Responsibilities
- Apply graphics and software engineering knowledge to build systems for compiling, verifying, debugging, and deploying GPU drivers, features, applications, and tools.
- Develop software features, tools, automation, and APIs using languages like Python, TypeScript, PHP, Groovy, C, and C++.
- Integrate artificial intelligence technologies to enhance productivity and effectiveness for the software environment and development teams.
- Leverage best practices in continuous integration, static analysis, distributed computing, network security, secure coding, software branching, and package management.
- Identify design deficiencies and collaborate with team members to develop and implement improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand new features and functionality for successful implementation and customization.
- Create detailed design documentation and feature specifications for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Game Rendering, or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 1+ year of academic and/or work experience with one or more programming language suitable for graphics (e.g., C++, C).
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient development skills in Python.
- Working knowledge of the tools and development lifecycle of compiled software products.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages suitable for graphics development (e.g., C++, C).
- Experience in two or more of the following areas: Deep knowledge of Python, including package development, typing, and commonly used Python libraries/packages.
- Embedded software development or other development in C/C++.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
- Experience integrating AI technologies, including supervisor-worker architectures and human-in-the-loop systems.
- Proficiency with Git and/or Perforce revision control systems.
- Build and make system development.
- Experience with static analysis tools, including code coverage and heuristic error detection.
- Database experience, particularly with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Linux administration and development.
- Windows administration and development.
- Web development, especially with Next.js, Django, and/or Flask.
- Containerization technologies such as Docker, Singularity, and/or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of computer graphics fundamentals.
