Responsibilities
- Design casted/forged metallic parts, casted plastic, pipes, brackets, and supplier parts.
- Provide concept development to industrialization of parts and components, and packaging studies.
- Generate part- and assembly drawings and assist in release process activities.
- Work according to Volvo GTT hardware development processes.
- Collaborate with individuals and different organizations.
- Work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Be a well-prepared person.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Automobile/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent education.
- Skills in performing CAD design & calculations.
- Good knowledge of GD&T.
- Software skills required: Creo, PDM Link.
- Good understanding of Powertrain technology, materials knowledge, and awareness of powertrain parts and accessories.
- Strong commitment to deliver on time with consistent and strict adherence to quality.
- Ability to be a good learner, independent, pro-active, and continuously strive to improve.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
