Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate monthly financial closing activities in Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Coordinate the closing period for Oracle modules with the shared service team.
  • Review and post journal entries with appropriate approvals.
  • Manage journal processing activities, including reclassifications, allocations, and other general ledger adjustments.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting requirements.
  • Support submissions and reporting requirements to regional and corporate finance teams.
  • Coordinate annual statutory audits and serve as a key point of contact for external auditors.
  • Support internal audits, tax audits, and other compliance-related reviews.
  • Prepare monthly corporate tax computations and support quarterly tax reporting submissions.
  • Partner with external tax advisors on annual corporate tax filings and tax-related matters.
  • Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts in collaboration with the shared service team.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and asset control processes.
  • Coordinate bank guarantee applications, renewals, and related banking activities.
  • Review tenancy agreements, maintenance agreements, and renewal schedules.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Experience in general ledger accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury activities, and balance sheet management.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external auditors, financial institutions, and tax advisors.

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or an equivalent certification.
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).
  • Experience supporting statutory audits and tax compliance within a multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of process improvement and financial governance best practices.
  • Experience partnering with shared service or regional finance teams.
