Synopsys is looking for a Foundry Product Marketing Director in Taipei, Taiwan, to manage relationships with foundry partners and internal teams. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact between Synopsys sales, product teams, and foundry partners for IP product availability, node roadmaps, and process updates
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with foundry business development teams at TSMC, Samsung, Intel Foundry, and others
  • Collect, assess, and distribute foundry roadmaps, process changes, and PDK updates to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain a live dashboard of foundry information, Synopsys IP roadmaps by node, and foundry-specific presentation materials
  • Coordinate test chip positioning and tape-out schedules with foundries
  • Evaluate foundry strategies, key market segments, and top customer priorities
  • Present at foundry seminars and customer meetings, representing Synopsys IP and articulating node positioning

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally with direct foundry experience or deep foundry business development relationships
  • Three or more years in marketing, product management, or business development roles with responsibility for strategy, roadmaps, or partner engagement
  • Deep technical knowledge of semiconductor process technology
  • Exceptional business acumen with the ability to connect market segments, applications, and technology trends to IP strategy
  • Strong command of presentation creation and delivery
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
  • Fluency in English required

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Korean is a strong plus
  • Can walk into a foundry meeting with incomplete information, ask the right questions, and walk out with what your team needs
  • Knows how to position a 5nm node for different customers
  • Organizationally savvy enough to work across matrixed teams
  • Comfortable using Excel pivot tables to analyze customer demand data and PowerPoint to turn that analysis into a strategy deck
  • Follows through on commitments
  • Can present technical content at a foundry seminar without reading slides
