As a Senior Finance Operations Expert II in Record-to-Report (R2R), you will lead operational excellence by analyzing performance, identifying risks, and driving standardization. Responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence across the R2R tower.
- Monitor, analyse and interpret KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure sustainable corrective actions.
- Drive standardization across countries and challenge local deviations.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on the 3Es.
- Lead/support country escalations and operational reviews with IBM.
- Support/Lead Business Verification (BV) testing and provide operational feedback.
- Identify simplification, automation and optimization opportunities.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations.
- Coach Finance Operations Experts I.
- Represent OSS in governance meetings when required.
- Drive the reduction of manual journals through automation and process improvements.
- Challenge and reduce low-value journals.
- Reduce journals posted during Month-End Close (MEC).
- Improve Month-End Close performance and operational readiness.
- Improve reconciliation quality, timeliness and Balance Sheet integrity.
- Ensure compliance with accounting controls, governance and global standards.
Requirements
- University degree and 6–7 years of relevant Finance experience, or minimum 9 years of overall relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of Record-to-Report processes and end-to-end Finance operations.
- Experience analysing KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for Operational Excellence, standardization and continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate with Countries, IBM and cross-functional stakeholders.
