Responsibilities
- Perform routine annual inspections and light repairs on medical gas equipment at healthcare facilities.
- Obtain and hold ASSE 6005 credential and work towards ASSE 6040 credential.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs under supervision.
- Provide a high level of customer service and develop rapport with customers.
- Serve as an ambassador for the company.
- Train and assist other Service Technicians as requested.
- Provide leads to Equipment Sales and Service Sales.
- Promote and practice proper safety procedures and correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Complete Job Reports daily, Time sheets weekly, and Expense reports at least monthly.
- Return warranty parts replaced under warranty as requested.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience working with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed customer expectations in daily performance.
- Mechanical and electrical experience in some form of maintenance field.
- Have ASSE 6005 or the ability to obtain credentials within 1 year is required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, or equivalent experience.
- Must be comfortable with the computer.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong aptitude for understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Customer-focused.
- Team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Detail-orientated.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- The ability to travel on short notice may be required.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent.
- Technical training in mechanical and/or electrical, or equivalent experience.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
