ASSA ABLOY is looking for a Field Sales Engineer in North Texas to promote and sell their electromechanical and electronic access control products. This role involves training integrators, collaborating on sales strategies, troubleshooting technical issues, and performing site surveys to ensure customer success in various building environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support local territory efforts to promote and sell ASSA ABLOY electromechanical (EM) and electronic access control (EAC) products and solutions.
  • Act as the territory’s expert on applications, technology, installation, and deployment of EM and EAC product/system/solution offerings.
  • Certify integrators’ sales, installation, and support capabilities through formal hands-on product training.
  • Train and support the channel, influencers, and other internal personnel.
  • Facilitate deployments of product test beds and trial installations.
  • Collaborate and develop plans for increasing sales in the assigned territory.
  • Develop wiring diagrams and represent ASSA ABLOY in installation meetings.
  • Conduct site surveys and audits with integrators.
  • Check on implemented solutions.
  • Strategize with team to win the highest overall product content.
  • Troubleshoot EM and EAC product-related issues.

  • Ability to perform responsibilities both in a home office environment or while traveling.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material for sale presentations.
  • College/University degree (preference for specialization in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar), or work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma.
  • 2 – 3 years of industry-related experience in field sales with EM/EAC/EMAC products and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.
