As the European Drop Shipment and S&OP Manager, you will lead and enhance drop shipment operations and represent the region in global S&OP. Your role involves improving forecasting accuracy, optimizing supply chain performance, and driving cross-functional collaboration for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Lead and improve the European S&OP process, providing regional insights to global planning.
Manage European drop shipment operations and the team responsible for execution.
Monitor supply performance and drive improvements in service levels and key metrics.
Analyze forecast performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Support monthly demand reviews and S&OP activities.
Partner with purchasing and stakeholders to address demand/supply imbalances and inventory challenges.
Support the implementation of forecasting and analytics tools.
Leverage market data to improve demand forecasts.
Support stocking strategy decisions and optimize product portfolio performance.
Drive product change initiatives, including phase-in/phase-out and lifecycle planning.
Prepare analyses and reports to support business decisions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience in supply chain, operations, planning, scheduling, engineering, or business operations.
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
Experience collaborating across multiple functions and with internal/external stakeholders.
Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools for business decision-making.
Experience with ERP systems and business planning processes.
Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and commitment to continuous improvement.
Ability to build productive relationships and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

Experience supporting demand forecasting, demand planning, or S&OP processes.
Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial products, or valve technologies.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI.
Familiarity with Oracle, Demantra, or similar planning and ERP platforms.
Experience leading or supporting change management initiatives.
Additional language capabilities, including German, are beneficial.
Experience managing product lifecycle activities, portfolio optimization, or inventory strategy projects.
