This full-time, permanent role involves contributing to quality improvement, cost optimization, and innovation for electromechanical components within the food preparation product line.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical diagrams and wiring modules using CAD tools (e.g., E3-Zuken, Siemens NX, Catia).
- Prepare BOM-related data (ANC allocation, PNC Design-BOM).
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements, including functionality, safety, reliability, manufacturability, and environmental standards.
- Support prototype/sample builds with suppliers for development and validation purposes.
- Provide technical support to factories to reduce rework and improve productivity.
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical components, including catalogue, specifications, cost models, and documentation.
- Drive innovation and improvement initiatives (quality, cost optimization, standardization, new features) while collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering fields.
- Knowledge of electrical components, including design, testing, and development.
- Structured engineering approach during each development phase.
- Capability of presenting and discussing proposals factually.
- International mindset to collaborate with multiple regions and cultures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a matrix organization.
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project).
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of a 2D/3D design tools (Zuken E3, Siemens NX X, CATIA).
- Experience in Value management and Design for Assembling and Manufacturing.
- Extensive experience in the appliance industry and knowledge of safety standards (UL858, IEC60335, IEC60730).
- EMI/EMC knowledge.
