Responsibilities
- Manage local direct purchases and oversee high transaction volumes, particularly within the Southeast Asia (SEA) region.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained throughout the handshake process, PI, and ALAS systems.
- Develop and update supplier agreements and procurement processes, optimizing for total cost, risk management, and product mix.
- Execute comprehensive supplier qualification procedures to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Lead commercial development initiatives to drive value and innovation.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.
- Monitor and enhance supplier performance through regular reviews and feedback.
- Track and report on daily results related to the three core purchasing goals: quality, delivery, and cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in establishing procurement policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of purchases and transactions.
- Strong process orientation and commitment to compliance.
Desired Qualifications
- Regional experience, especially within Southeast Asia, is an advantage.
- Experience in procuring services is highly desirable.
