DevOps Engineer

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is looking for an entry-level DevOps Engineer in Bangalore to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Build tools to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve user experience.
- Develop and maintain integrations with internal back-end systems.
- Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.
- Develop observability tools for the end-to-end lifecycle of the pipeline.
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Maintain common developer resources, ensuring relevant security updates are continuously applied.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Git and GitLab/GitHub workflows.
- Good knowledge of Java, Groovy or Python.
- Good knowledge of Docker and container workflows.
- Working knowledge of Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Working knowledge of AI prompt engineering.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Collaborative team spirit.
- Fluent in English.
- University or Bachelor's degree; Advanced University or MBA preferred.
- Related previous work experience.
- 2-4 years’ experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role is a merit.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Experience in an operational environment (on-call support).
