Responsibilities
- Upgrading, monitoring, and maintaining the applications stack.
- Supporting users with data governance regulations and requirements.
- On-boarding new platforms/applications and sunsetting old ones.
- Automating manual labor to improve efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with internal IT policies.
- Working with vendors to resolve vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Application support engineer experience.
- Experience with hosted on-premises or cloud environments (cloud is a plus).
- Knowledge of Linux or Windows operating system.
- Advanced level of knowledge in any programming language.
- Database technology knowledge (relational, non-relational).
- Understanding of HTTP protocol stack and networking.
- Great communication skills and fluency in English.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ITIL process.
- Understanding general principles for Data Governance/Data Quality.
- Analytical skills and knowledge to handle complex information.
- RESTful API knowledge.
- Google Cloud Platform expertise.
