Ericsson is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer in Bangalore, India, to manage and secure their global observability platform, COS. This role involves end-to-end ownership of secure CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and AI-enabled operations. You will work with a cloud-native tech stack including Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry.
Responsibilities
- Build and run COS as a secure cloud-native platform using infrastructure/configuration as code.
- Introduce AI-enabled operations (AIOps) and MLOps/LLMOps practices for automation and AI component delivery.
- Execute deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes, troubleshoot issues, and run performance tests.
- Improve secure CI/CD for platform and services, including security checks and compliance.
- Apply SRE practices to enhance availability, scalability, and performance with proactive monitoring.
- Take operational ownership, including runbooks, on-call readiness, incident management, and service performance reporting.
Requirements
- 8+ years in DevSecOps or platform engineering in a cloud-native environment with end-to-end ownership.
- Strong CI/CD and automation skills, including security checks (SAST/SCA, image scanning, policy checks) and controlled releases.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki) and instrumentation with OpenTelemetry.
- Comfortable working across a broad tech stack and learning new tools and concepts quickly.
- Clear communicator who collaborates globally and can explain work across development, operations, and security.
- Proactive problem-solver who thrives in hands-on engineering and structured delivery.
Desired Qualifications
- Merit: AI platform engineering (MLOps/LLMOps), deploying/monitoring LLM services, RAG pipelines, and embeddings/vector search.
- Ericsson experience is a plus.
