This role involves the maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure, including server rack installation, hardware break-fix, and network troubleshooting. Responsibilities
- Maintain and upkeep data center infrastructure.
- Perform server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
- Act as the primary contact point for internal customers and external service partners.
- Meet SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and provide first-line hardware troubleshooting.
- Perform on-call duties and participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
- Contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
- Contribute to documentation, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Assist in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).
Requirements
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg.
- Ability to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
- Willingness to cover 24x7 shift rotation.
