Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and upkeep of data center infrastructure.
  • Server rack installation and hardware break-fix on various components.
  • Troubleshooting network issues and responding to emergent situations.
  • Serving as a primary contact for internal customers and external service partners.
  • Meeting SLAs against assigned trouble tickets and acting as the first line of touch for hardware troubleshooting.
  • Performing on-call duties and participating in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
  • Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement.
  • Contributing to documentation and process improvement initiatives through root cause analysis.
  • Assisting in training less experienced team members (for more experienced technicians).

Requirements

  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 18kg.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
  • Willingness to cover 24x7 shift rotation.

  • Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution.
  • Experience operating efficiently under pressure.
