Responsibilities
- Administering Windows environments, including servers, Active Directory and new installations.
- Working with virtualisation using VMware.
- Servicing and updating existing automation systems.
- Installing and configuring ABB System 800xA HMI solutions.
- Supporting system hardening, cybersecurity and IT security for critical infrastructure.
- Participating in projects, customer dialogue and testing from start to finish.
- Documenting and testing your work to help ensure high-quality customer deliveries.
Requirements
- Enrolled in the Data Technician programme with a specialisation in cybersecurity or infrastructure.
- Curious about virtualisation, Windows, domains, Active Directory, network topology and security.
- Motivated to learn and develop your technical skills.
- Comfortable taking responsibility and moving tasks forward.
- Able to seek input from colleagues when needed.
- Able to plan your work and deliver as agreed.
- Understand how to match the quality and scope of a solution to the task.
Desired Qualifications
- Specialisation in cybersecurity or infrastructure within the Data Technician program.
