Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and replace faulty components.
- Conduct post-execution quality checks, including grounding, labeling, and cabling.
- Decommission hardware for simple changes and refreshes following standard procedures.
- Communicate, report, and escalate incidents to appropriate management and specialists.
- Assist and provide guidance to other technicians on complex tasks.
- Complete required training and gain hands-on experience by observing experienced technicians.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing information and participating in meetings.
- Demonstrate pride and accountability for service quality and data center facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components.
- 1+ year(s) experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check and other required security screenings.
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- CompTIA (A+, Server+, Network+).
- Basic Structure Cabling (BSC).
