Amazon Data Services Sweden AB is seeking a Data Center Technician in Katrineholm for their DCC Communities team. This 100% onsite, full-time role involves troubleshooting and repairing data center infrastructure, including hardware and networking issues, while adhering to strict safety standards. A valid EU driving license is required due to the remote location of data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose hardware and network problems and perform physical repairs.
  • Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Follow and maintain the highest safety standards.
  • Work rotating shifts (morning/night) and weekends to maintain 24/7 operations.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of technical experience.
  • General knowledge of troubleshooting.
  • A valid (EU) driving license is required.
  • Experience with problem ticket tracking, prioritization, and escalation procedures.
  • Understanding of maintenance windows/change management procedures.
  • Basic understanding of data center facilities.
  • Networking administration and/or certification.

Desired Qualifications

  • CCENT/CCNA, Network+, A+.
  • Scripting skills.
