Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of new product and enhancement initiatives for automatic doors (sliding, swinging, revolving).
- Serve as the central point of coordination for product launch execution, tracking milestones, driving accountability, and facilitating global team communication.
- Define project requirements and scope in collaboration with product management and stakeholders, ensuring the final product meets specifications.
- Build and maintain project plans, timelines, resource estimates, and milestone tracking.
- Drive projects through the stage-gate process, ensuring adherence to design readiness, pilot builds, production readiness, and commercial launch criteria.
- Lead cross-functional project meetings, ensuring action items are assigned, tracked, and completed.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, developing mitigation and recovery plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional work across R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, quality, architectural, marketing, product management, and sales teams.
- Coordinate compliance, certification, and regulatory activities to obtain required approvals.
- Provide regular project updates and facilitate key decisions with stakeholders and leadership.
- Translate technical details into understandable communication for various stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and reporting methods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience in product development, engineering, manufacturing, or NPI environments.
- Experience with hardware, electromechanical, or building products is strongly preferred.
- Proven delivery in a cross-functional, matrix environment (influence without direct authority).
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules and status reporting.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, drive action items to completion, and maintain project momentum.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with modern project-tracking tools (Jira, Asana, or similar).

- Experience with agile practices.
- Technical background or experience working in an engineering environment.
- Experience with ERP systems or PLM systems.
- Experience coordinating with supply chain and manufacturing partners.
- Experience working within a global company, multiple brands, or multi-site manufacturing.
- PMP certification or formal project management training.
