As a Controls Engineer in India, you will deploy and service data center control systems like BMS and EPMS, ensuring data center health and supporting critical projects. Responsibilities
- Deploy data center controls on time, managing vendors to ensure minimal defects.
- Deliver critical projects to upgrade data center automation.
- Provide service and support to partner teams, diagnosing and resolving operations-impacting events.
- Resolve tasks within predefined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Deliver initiatives to improve data center or operations procedure efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production.
- Experience in MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure experience.
- Knowledge of critical data center equipment.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.
- Experience reading and interpreting construction specifications and drawings for all domains.
