Responsibilities

  • Develop standard operating procedure documents for risk and fraud investigators.
  • Create email communications for Amazon's customers.
  • Document operational processes and create messaging for a global audience.
  • Own the investigator and customer experience.
  • Work with global stakeholders to understand business priorities and legal requirements.
  • Improve the reader experience and contribute to team-level goals and initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot tool issues impacting content and flag issues to the relevant tech team.

Requirements

  • Experience in editing, copy-editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience in overseeing and managing projects and deadlines.
  • Experience using content management systems and content tools.
  • Experience managing content projects of varying complexity, conducting content review and overseeing localization.
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and report issues via the appropriate channels.
  • Good judgment and effective communication.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of technical writer, editor, or content strategist experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with HTML, XML, or DITA.
  • Experience with, or exposure to, Customer Trust Operations or business processes for Amazon customers.
