Alstom is seeking a Commodity Leader for Coupler & Gangways to manage global supplier relationships and commodity strategy. This role involves driving platform strategy, ensuring QCDT performance, and leading procurement activities for the assigned commodity.

Responsibilities

Implement platform strategy for the commodity, including product agreement negotiation.
Manage global supplier panel relationships (FA, Partnership, QBR).
Oversee commodity Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) performance.
Manage legal supplier performance.
Handle operational procurement responsibilities like negotiation and cross-site bundling.
Lead Saving Plan initiatives (Co2 reduction, Design to Cost, LCC, Volumes).
Conduct commodity animation with site and platform teams.
Support commodity management by consolidating needs, inputs, and proposing supplier innovation.
Define strategy for specific segments based on delegation.
Ensure effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders.
Apply Alstom Procurement process and provide return on experience.
Build Procurement Tender commitments and manage projects.

Requirements

Mandatory: Engineering or Business School master degree.
Mandatory: Minimum 8 years of experience.
Minimum of three years working experience in purchasing.
Curiosity and capacity to understand technical specificities and market knowledge of the commodity.
Strong interpersonal skills (leadership, communication, ability to convince).
Ability to work in a matrix environment.
Fluent in English with an international mindset.

Desired Qualifications

Desirable: Master in Purchasing.
