Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor paint shop projects until Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) is obtained.
- Achieve and maintain paint process parameters such as DFT, gloss, and color values.
- Support underbody coating and spray applications.
- Program and debug industrial robots for applications like spraying, gluing, flaming, blowing, wiping, and film thickness detection.
- Perform robot disassembly and maintenance.
- Operate and maintain vision measuring systems.
- Independently perform robot simulations for new model introductions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Paint technology/Chemical engineering/Mechanical.
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Automation & Paint shops.
- Ability to perform robot system commission, functional program module writing, process debugging and problem handling.
- In-depth knowledge of Atomizers/Spray gun and gluing, flaming, blowing, wipe, film thickness detection.
- Familiar with Sealant equipment like ABB IDFP, Graco PCF, SCA Dozer.
- Knowledge of Powder coating/Solvent borne paints/water borne paint.
