Amazon is looking for a Channel Team Lead for its Delivery Center in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. This role is responsible for managing last-mile operations, including account identification, acquisition, and management, field visits, training, reporting, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, strong leadership and communication skills, and experience in operations or people handling.

Responsibilities

  • Market mapping and identification of potential retail stores for acquisition, induction, and onboarding.
  • Managing and driving the growth of Channel partners/stores' business with Amazon.
  • Visiting targeted number of stores on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Delivering training and coaching on Amazon processes, products, operating model, and SOPs.
  • Working on the ground to enable the network with new product launches and partner with operations teams.
  • Maintaining and publishing routine reporting on stores' performance and business with Amazon.
  • Building and managing a multi-layer team and managing performance through coaching and mentoring.
  • Driving team of associates to manage their targets.
  • Setting proper expectations, providing clear status communications, and managing relationships with acquired/assigned stores.
  • Working with stores/channel partners to improve operational aspects of their business.
  • Enhancing engagement with accounts to improve business and increase retention.
  • Driving stores against goals (Volume, FTR, and other key metrics).
  • Handling day-to-day operational escalations and being available 24/7 to manage issues.
  • Internal/External stakeholder management.
  • Supporting station operations and/or customer deliveries.
  • Leading an operation for +20k packages.
  • Managing On-The-Road execution encompassing Delivery Service Partners and Drivers.
  • Developing strategies to streamline operations.
  • Leading a team of UTR & OTR TLs and +30 Associates.
  • Solving complex problems and making key decisions and escalations.
  • Fostering a Culture of Safety.
  • Protecting service levels and monitoring/improving drivers and associates performance.
  • Assembling the right team, assigning tracking strategy, and controlling operations for timely Last Mile delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership capabilities and people management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure situations.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Good communication skills; ability to communicate and explain to individuals and the team what needs to be achieved.
  • Listening skills; gains input and commitment from all involved.
  • Strong Bias for great customer service; engaging the team in understanding customer experience and needs.
  • High Ownership; follows through to ensure the delivery of changes/solutions/services.
  • Analytical Skills; effectively analyze and interpret information, identify and validate key facts, review alternatives.
  • Bachelor Degree / MBA.
  • Preferably from Sales/Telecom background.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced Communication skills.
  • Operations skills.
  • People Handling skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering.

Desired Qualifications

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing.
