Microsoft is looking for a Business Manager within the Strategy & Operations team to support WW Enterprise Partner Sales. This role is responsible for driving the rhythm of business, fiscal year planning, budget management, and executing strategic initiatives in partnership with leadership. The position is remote but requires candidates within 50 miles of Redmond to work in the office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Drive the architecting, developing, and executing of the rhythm of business.
- Lead strategy initiatives and facilitate the rhythm of ROB, using strategy plans and business insights.
- Collaborate with internal and/or external partners to develop plans and articulate mutual benefits of partnerships.
- Drive business review cadence and inform processes for privacy and compliance adherence.
- Lead strategy execution in partnership with the leadership team, leveraging business knowledge to drive goals.
- Oversee processes to ensure alignment across groups and establish best practices for long-term company strategy.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategy to streamline business strategy.
- Design budgets leveraging deep knowledge of organizational strategy and planned deliverables.
- Develop forecasting plans in partnership with the leadership team and Finance.
- Oversee development of metrics for budgeting and forecasting, identifying actions for performance improvement.
- Work with Procurement to coordinate future resources and ensure alignment on headcount strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 6+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles.
- OR equivalent experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience leading rhythm of the business (ROB) and annual/fiscal-year planning processes, including business reviews and execution against key priorities.
- Experience with budget management, forecasting, and resource planning in partnership with Finance and business leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives, driving actions and accountability through completion.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, ideally in a Chief of Staff, Business Management, or Business Operations capacity.
Benefits
- Competitive base pay range: USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year (US average).
- Higher pay range in specific locations like San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area: USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
