IKEA is seeking three Food Business Creators to develop delicious and affordable food offers globally, acting as an extension of development teams. Responsibilities include identifying market gaps, securing range plans, and collaborating with suppliers and retail teams. Responsibilities

Act as an extended arm of the development teams at IKEA of Sweden for a specific geographical area.
Identify and secure a range plan for the assigned geographical area, including identifying market gaps and new business opportunities.
Contribute to the IKEA identity, approved by the IKEA of Sweden AB product development team.
Obtain components and secure market-specific and mandatory dishes through selection or adjustments.
Work in close collaboration with a food engineer to secure compliant products.
Collaborate with the category business teams on local sourcing initiatives and frequently visit IKEA food suppliers in the region.
Lead collaboration with retail and consolidate volumes across a region where possible.

Requirements

Have a strong interest in food, ingredients and cultural food preferences.
Have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen & can-do attitude.
Excellent communication & project leading skills, execution and stakeholder management across IKEA organizations.
Have a deep knowledge about product & range development and the complete IKEA value chain.
Willingness for frequent travel on short notice.

Desired Qualifications

Worked within the food industry and are in-tune with the trends and different production methods.
Proven track record in building profitable businesses.
