Responsibilities
- Support engineering activities under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Complete tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.
- Collect data and support the production of engineering design.
- Plan, monitor, and execute application development tasks, including new product development and modifications.
- Provide technical support for testing, installation, commissioning, debugging, and diagnostics.
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering documentation through modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
- Assist in preparing engineering proposals and presentations.
- Maintain effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks/issues.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation or related discipline).
- Minimum 1-3 years of application development and support experience.
- Well-developed understanding of Industrial Automation systems like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control and robotic systems.
- Demonstrable experience in building strong and enduring customer relationships within highly dynamic and competitive markets.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.
- Willing to travel for site support and commissioning as required.
