Responsibilities
- Support Market companies with developing automation strategies and executing automation projects.
- Provide technical support for the Africa cluster and service to customers.
- Review electrical drawings, P&ID documents, and process descriptions.
- Support with pre-project costing, customer meetings, site evaluation, and scope document creation.
- Provide cost estimates for electrical & automation costing using Tetra Pak Plant Master internal methodology.
- Understand S88 and S95 standards; PCS 7 experience is beneficial.
- Create BOM for electrical and automation solutions.
- Coordinate for electrical and automation items on SAP.
- Develop and commission plant automation systems (hardware and software).
- Develop tools for rapid software engineering and hardware creation.
- Provide technical support, commissioning, and troubleshooting remotely and on-site in the Africa region.
- Create software design documents and prepare/perform FAT tests with end customers.
Requirements
- BSC or BTech Degree in Electrical Engineering, light current, Process instrumentation, or equivalent ND.
- 3-5 years of proven ability in automation and electrical engineering.
- PLC programming experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley & Wonderware) is critical.
- Food manufacturing experience is essential.
- Project knowledge.
- English language proficiency.
- Willingness to travel 50% of your time.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
- PCS 7 experience will provide a great platform to be successful in role.
