Qualcomm is hiring an Associate Engineer for Graphic Testing in Bangalore, India. The role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases and device automation for graphics SW stack and related technologies. Candidates require expertise in C/C++/Python programming.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and/or specialized utility programs.
  • Collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans.
  • Support testing efforts for graphics SW stack and adjacent technologies like touch, ML, power, multimedia (video, audio, camera, graphics, display).
  • Write and execute test cases and device automation.
  • Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging, and analysis.
  • Create test environments using software and hardware tools.
  • Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).
  • Expert in C/C++/Python programming.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team working skills.
  • Experience with PC Gaming.

Desired Qualifications

  • The engineer’s role would be to support testing efforts for graphics SW stack and adjacent technologies like touch, ml, power, multimedia( (video, audio, camera, graphics, display).
  • Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
  • The Engineer must have a good hands-on with automation - c/c++ programming and/or python programming.
