Aircraft Mechanic - G6000

In short

This role involves line and base maintenance of aircraft, including troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of aircraft, engines, avionics, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance procedures, computer-based systems, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills, preferably with experience on the Bombardier G6000 or in corporate aviation.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and maintain aircraft, engines, avionics, electrical systems, and ground support equipment.
Perform defect rectification efficiently and effectively.
Undertake specialist assignments including flight line and base maintenance, aircraft repairs, training, refueling, marshalling, and conducting pre-flight and post-flight checks.
Perform acceptance inspections on components and equipment.
Assist with parts inventory management.

Requirements

Extensive experience in maintenance procedures and inspections.
Strong understanding of technical reference materials (e.g., maintenance manuals, illustrated part catalogues, service bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, airworthiness notes).
Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in using computer-based maintenance systems.
Experience in quality work according to military and/or civil aviation standards.
Must be approved in a security vetting in accordance to ISO:27001+.
Good administration skills and computer literacy are essential.

Desired Qualifications

Currently working on and/or has experience working with the Bombardier Global G6000 (BD700) is highly desirable but not a requirement.
Preference will be given to those applicants who already have experience of working within a Corporate / Private aviation environment, or those with experience working on the Global 6000.
An organized, adaptable and flexible approach.
Strong interpersonal skills and a diplomatic approach.
Enthusiastic, willing to learn.
Ability to prioritize in an ever-changing environment.
Remain calm and adapt under pressure are essential.
Excellent communication skills combined with courtesy and integrity are also important.
