Seeking an AI / ML Engineer in Doha to develop AI applications using cloud AI services and generative models, including deep learning and neural networks. The role requires expert proficiency in Machine Learning and collaboration within the AI & Data team for the Central Bank of Qatar.

Responsibilities

  • Develop applications and systems that utilize artificial intelligence tools and cloud artificial intelligence services.
  • Ensure proper cloud or on-premises application pipelines with production-ready quality.
  • Apply generative artificial intelligence models as part of the solution, which may include deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable artificial intelligence solutions that meet project requirements and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models into broader system architectures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing model performance and application effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to maintain innovation and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Expert proficiency in Machine Learning (ML) is required.
  • Subject matter expert in AI/ML.
  • Ability to collaborate and manage a team to perform effectively.
  • Responsibility for team decisions.
  • Engagement with multiple teams.
  • Contribution to key decisions.
  • Provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Foundation Model Fine Tuning is suggested.
  • Advanced proficiency in Foundation Models is suggested.
  • Advanced proficiency in Database Architecture is suggested.
