Responsibilities

  • Manage changes, create runbooks, SOPs, and change requests, and coordinate approvals.
  • Perform software upgrades on firewalls, load balancers, proxy, micro-segmentation, and network security management applications.
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents across firewalls, load balancers, proxy, micro-segmentation, external DNS, and CDN (with DOS), guiding L2 operational teams for emergency changes.
  • Implement daily changes across firewalls, load balancers, proxy, micro-segmentation, external DNS, and CDN, including planned DR activities.
  • Provide go-live support for newly released projects.
  • Assist with decommission initiatives and ongoing software upgrade programs.
  • Perform automation regression testing and provide feedback to automation engineers.

Requirements

  • Experience with CheckPoint PPC (Software) and Cloud Security.
  • Proficiency in managing firewalls, load balancers, external DNS, proxy, and micro-segmentation.
  • Experience with SSL certificate management.
  • Skilled in change management, creating runbooks, SOPs, and change requests.
  • Ability to perform software upgrades on network security applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting incidents related to firewalls, load balancers, proxy, micro-segmentation, external DNS, and CDN (with DOS).
  • Capability to guide L2 operational teams during incident response.
  • Experience implementing daily network changes and planned DR activities.
  • Familiarity with automation regression testing and providing feedback on automation tools.
