Ericsson seeks an Accounts Payable Team Leader in Mexico City to manage vendor debts, process invoices, and ensure accurate financial records. This role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, with advanced English proficiency, to oversee a team and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

Ensure the integrity of vendor master data by reviewing, verifying, and entering information into Graphite for syncing to Oracle.
Review, verify, code, and enter vendor invoices, debit/credit memos, and refunds into accounting software.
Liaise with stakeholders and suppliers for invoice, banking, and tax information.
Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts in Oracle.
Collaborate with the Treasury department to schedule and ensure payment disbursements.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing tasks, including AP accruals.
Ensure compliance with sales/use tax regulations and assist with AP-related tax reporting.
Perform monthly KPI analysis for Purchasing for management review.
Prepare Account Reconciliations in support of financial statements.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances in a timely manner.
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Streamline and improve AP processes.
Handle ad hoc requests as needed.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience creating spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently and effectively communicate to all levels of the company.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience extracting statistical and informative reports from a financial system.
High accuracy and speed with numerical data.
Leadership Skills.
Advanced English Skills.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with Graphite and Oracle.
Familiarity with sales/use tax regulations and tax reporting requirements (e.g., 1099).
