As a Workshop Technician in Shanghai, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and testing vacuum pumps, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met. This full-time, on-site role requires mechanical/technical education, 3+ years of manufacturing experience, PC literacy, and the ability to read technical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assembling/disassembling and testing of vacuum pumps according to a weekly plan.
- Assisting in and cooperating with team members on Corrective Action Reports.
- Reviewing HS2 documentation on a daily basis.
- Using correct PPE, obeying required BAM processes and procedures.
- Meeting daily production targets with respect to quality, volume, and efficiency.
- Inspecting parts, assemblies, and systems, following inspection criteria.
- Performing leak tests and assisting in troubleshooting leak test failures.
- Maintaining working area in accordance with good housekeeping practices and 6S standards.
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and according to work instructions.
- Raising issues and observations at SIM2 meetings.
- Following the Kanban system.
Requirements
- High School education, preferably in a mechanical/technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Good PC literacy; experience with SAP an advantage.
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and published specifications.
- Some knowledge of English is a huge advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, time flexibility, detailed oriented person with faithfulness.
