Atlas Copco is looking for an experienced Welder for their manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China. The role involves completing welding tasks according to blueprints, assisting pipefitters, analyzing and rectifying welding quality issues, and maintaining tools. The position requires at least 3 years of welding experience and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

Complete welding tasks according to drawings and production plans, focusing on product quality.
Assist pipefitters with welding-related tasks, such as tack welding.
Analyze and rework welding quality issues in conjunction with the supervisor.
Perform daily tool maintenance and general workspace organization.
Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets, sharing knowledge and experiences.
Meet safety, health, and environment goals, adhering to company regulations and procedures.
Report work status and communicate encountered problems to the supervisor promptly.
Complete other tasks assigned by the workshop.
Be available for occasional business trips if necessary.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of welding experience, with some pipe welding experience.
Possession of a Metal Welding and Cutting Certificate, a Special Equipment Welding Personnel Qualification Certificate for relevant welding methods, or the ability to obtain such certification within a specified timeframe.
Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documents.
