IKEA is hiring a full-time Warehouse Co-worker in Perryville, Maryland, for a Sunday-Wednesday shift. This role involves daily responsibilities in picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods, with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of goods.
Contribute with ideas and inputs to agreed goals of the action plan in daily work.
Effectively unload and handle inbound/outbound goods.
Secure merchandise properly to allow for safe movement through the distribution center.
Contribute to overall warehouse operations goals setting and drive implementation of local business plans/projects.
Analyze existing workload to secure daily volume handling and meet seasonal fluctuation needs.
Remove and properly document all damages found or caused on inbound/outbound merchandise.
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects assigned.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of related experience.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.

Desired Qualifications

Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
