Responsibilities
- Join the TECHIP team for IP characterization.
- Automate industrial EDA tools.
- Perform data analysis and visualization.
- Enable large-scale software automation.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of CMOS, FinFET logic, and transistor fundamentals.
- Understanding of basic digital circuit design optimization.
- Knowledge of Standard cell / Memory/IO circuit and IP characterization background.
- Strong logical and problem-solving skills with excellent analytical and debugging abilities.
- Strong Software programming skills in Python or Perl on UNIX/Linux platforms.
- Highly motivated with excellent team spirit and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in industrial EDA tool automation, data analysis and visualization, and large-scale software automation enablement.
- Familiarity with industry standard Design kit (DK) views, Liberty formats for foundation IPs (advanced modeling formats CCS, LVF), and statistical variation models.
- Familiarity with front-end pre-silicon design flow, RTL design/coding, logic design, Verilog/System Verilog, RTL design verification, System Verilog Assertion (SVA), Design for Test, BIST modeling experience.
- Experience in Static Timing Analysis, physical design is a plus.
- Experience with spice simulation models, design rules verification procedures (like DRC/LVS/ERC) is a plus.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
