Qualcomm China is seeking a Sr. Engineer in Shanghai to focus on SoC pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up & validation. The role requires 3+ years of experience with SoC validation, debugging, and programming languages like C and Python.

Responsibilities

  • SoC pre-silicon and post-silicon bring-up & validation
  • Infrastructure and flow/methodology enhancement
  • Communication and collaboration with multiple teams in Geos around the world

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of applicable work experience
  • Experience with SoC validation and debugging
  • Experience with CPU(ARM, RISC-V etc.) or high-speed peripheral(PCIe/USB etc.) validation and debugging
  • Experience with tools and computer language/scripts such as C, Python, Perl, TCL, makefiles, shell scripts
  • Self-motivated and quick learner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Good team player
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
  • PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with high speed PCB design is a strong plus
  • Experience with test equipment and tool such as Lecroy analyzer and Lauterbach Trace32 is a plus
