Electrolux is seeking a Utility Operator II for their 2nd shift in Springfield, TN. This full-time, on-site role involves supporting the production line, ensuring high-quality output, assisting with training, and troubleshooting defects. The operator must be proficient with tools, able to perform physical tasks, and read schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support throughout the Assembly department to produce the highest quality products on time.
  • Assist the supervisor in training associates and following up on quality-related issues.
  • Serve as a backfill for absenteeism.
  • Assist with changeovers.
  • Gain basic knowledge of gas flow, including connections, dangers, LP vs. Natural, and drop test procedures.
  • Read and comprehend schematic wiring diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot functional defects.

Requirements

  • Must have Math Level 1.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to read and write English.
  • Able to work with insulation.
  • Proficient in using air tools and hand tools necessary for the position.
  • Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Able to stand for most of the shift.
  • Should be able to team lift any package greater than 25 lbs.
  • Should be able to handle repetitive twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and bending.
  • Must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and temperature variations.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity required for equipment operation and inspections.
